Hi Princess,
Today has been huge for both of us! We were supposed to leave for the airport at 6:00 AM. Instead, the alarm decided not to go off, and I woke up at 6:20 AM. The traffic report was clear - no problems. We just got past Eastlink and the traffic stopped. The next traffic report informed us there was an overturned car and the freeway was down to one lane. There was also another accident at Burke road, where only two lanes were getting through. It was absolute chaos
I made it to the airport 20 minutes before take off, but of course, it was too late to check in. I organized the next flight out for another $80. It wasn't too bad, it worked out better anyway as I had enough time to feed you and relax a bit.
Because I fed you, you slept for the entire flight. When we started descending, I woke you up and started feeding you so your ears wouldn't hurt, but you were fine. I was more worried than you were!
At Gold Coast airport, I spent ages organizing a car, then we finally made it to Grandmas. My sisters and my nephew came over for dinner, so you met them for your first time. I couldn't believe how much your cousin has grown since Christmas! It scared me a bit because everything changes so fast.
