Hey beautiful girl,
Another five days has gone past and I have barely had enough time to brush my hair!
On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday I can’t really tell you what happened in detail, it’s all a bit of a blur. I can tell you though on Wednesday we drove in to meet your dad to organize your birth certificate and you met your first famous person – Samuel Johnson, the guy from Secret Life of Us (I love that show!) and more recently Rush.
I was in absolute awe! He looked exactly the same in real life as he does on TV!
On Thursday I went to the dentist and they told me that I have to have my back wisdom tooth and it’s neighbour out by an oral surgeon which sucked. We then went shopping around Knox and I was very teary because the maternal health nurse came in the morning and you still haven’t put on any weight so I have to top you up with breastmilk or formula after you breastfeed. My milk hasn’t properly come through yet because of my polycystic ovaries but hopefully with your dad pushing me and some dedication we will increase my supply because you really hate the formula. S26 – It’s been around for decades but that doesn’t keep it in your stomach!
On Friday you meet my Dad for the first time he was very proud.
Today I went to the dentist and had the teeth pulled out so now I’m pretty uncomfortable. You met my mum and aunt and uncle for the first time. Be careful of mum she can be very manipulative when she wants something but that’s all I will say. I will let you make up your own mind!
Somewhere this week, maybe Friday?? You literally shit on me!!!! I finished breastfeeding and held onto you with my legs crossed while burping you and all of a sudden, I heard a horrible squelching noises and then a warm thick feeling running down my leg. I jumped up. Threw you into your bassinet gathered up the sheets and mattress protector off the bed but it was too late. I jumped into the shower. GROSS!!!!
Then today, I changed your nappy and you sharted (shitted and farted) on my finger. Tonight, you peed on your dad right before he was going out with his friends and had trouble finding something else to wear! You definitely keep us busy with washing that’s for sure!
I wrote a list of all the presents everyone has brought you:
Your dads parents:
- pram, lots of clothes, knitted cardigans, photo frame, journal, butterfly mobile, crochet baby blanket that was handmade for you dads brothers and now handed to you.
My mum - car seat, money, clothes, baby book and Peter rabbit books
My sister - clothes
My Auntie/Uncle - toiletries, clothes and a baby book
My dad - nappies and baby wipes
My best friend - Clothes, glow and sing bear, pram toys and baby wipes
My work friends - photo frame and money which I bought your baby bag with
My neighbour - fat cow teddy bear, clothes, baby blanket and a play mat.
All in all you have been very spoilt!!
Anyway bub, it’s half an hour until your next feed, and I’m so tired!
Love you
Mum
